Force Seeing
We must first understand how vision works. We never "see” with our eyes. The eyes are only there to let in light. When light bounces off of something the reflected light waves come into the eyeballs hitting the retina of the eye in the retina. The retina than transmutes the light particles into language that can be transferred along the optic nerves to the visual cortex. It is the visual cortex but does the actual seeing. The visual cortex creates the image that is perceived as what we're looking at. We only “see” with the visual cortex of the brain.
With Force seeing, you take in information from more than the eyes. When your aura picks up what the brain can interpret as 'visual input' it sends it to the visual cortex. It does not have to do this using the eyes or the optic nerve. Input to the visual cortex can come from any direction and the picture one sees this way can be just as clear as if you are looking through your eyes. It takes practice and training to allow the visual cortex to understand that it is to accept the visual input from more than the eyes. Focusing on the visual cortex instead of your eyes is how you begin to 'see' energy, also. Eyes are nice to have; they are not always needed for seeing.
Understand that people and plants and animals are sending out radiant light energy from their bodies all the time. This light is picked up as infrared and other kinds of light. They’re also sending out pulsating rhythms from their life processes. These pulsating rhythms are creating sound waves. This light and sound is being sent out from all points of the body as long as the being is alive. This light and sound hits the outer shell of our auras and continues on into our own energy bodies. This light and sound can be perceived from any point of our energy body. Every point of our energy body can send those signals to the visual cortex. In fact this is happening all of the time. What we need to do is train the visual cortex to understand and acccept that information as visual information and to turn it into things that we can see.
I'll include a lesson on learning to perceive energy visually as taught by Alberto Villoldo in his book, Shaman, Healer, Sage. I had already begun to perceive energy visually when I found this book. Using the following practice I was able to increase my ability to see energy. On a note: Mr. Villoldo 's Luminous Energy field is the same as our aura field.
Second Awareness exercise
“The Second Awareness allows you to perceive the stories contained within energy. You install fibers of light along the scalp that relay information from the third eye to the visual cortex, where it can be decoded and displayed in vibrant color. We add to that information streaming in from the heart on similar fibers of light. These extracerebral pathways convey emotional and spiritual insight. The third eye registers facts, while the heart registers feelings. On its own, the third eye is cold and dispassionate. By itself, the heart gets gushy and sentimental. Working together the two become the healers most powerful sources of knowledge. Ninety percent of my students are capable of developing this skill. It is not a gift that only a select few are born with. The visual cortex is capable of envisioning anything. More than that, it decodes the information, deciphering images laden with symbols and meaning.
Assume the prayer pose and go through the Second Attention practice while taking several deep breaths. Next, with the fingertips of both hands tap the center of our chest at the level of your heart. Tap the outline of an imaginary necklace of light going from your heart chakra to the back of your skull, to the visual cortex. Repeat this movement slowly and mindfully three or four times.
Next tap on your sixth chakra, on the center of your forehead. Pat an imaginary band from your forehead to the base of your skull in the back of the head. Follow a line just above each ear. Repeat several times.
Now tap once again on your sixth chakra and follow a band along the top of your head (tapping with both hands along the midline) to the base of the skull. Imagine that you are placing a crown of light over your head.
As you visualize this crown and necklace, you install extracerebral pathways to the visual cortex of the brain. Visualize energy running through these pathways to activate them. I visualize these pathways as shimmering fibers and imagine a golden light streaming through the. Slowly at first, then picking up speed and intensity until the entire network is pulsing with light. I have found that some students very quickly develop the ability to see. Their luminous pathways are readily installed and begin transmitting information right away. For others it can take months or even years. The Second Awareness cannot be achieved through trying, which is an act of will and belongs in the world of our ordinary (first) awareness. Energize the extracerebral pathways and let the visual cortex of the brain do what it was designed to do.
You may realize one day that you have already been seeing for some time. It took me many months of practice, energizing the luminous pathways from my forehead and my heart to the back of my head, to achieve reliable results. One day I discovered that I had been seeing the luminous energy field for months but simply had not been aware of perceiving it." (Manna note: Seeing this way works with the eyes either open or closed. You do not need them. Practice seeing energy around plants and animals) "Notice the filaments that extend from a pet to its owner, or from your houseplants to nature and to your own Luminous Energy field."

If you happen to have seen the magician on TV who does the show called Mind Freak, you will see him using a similar technique. He has also created pathways from his fingertips to his visual cortex and is using those pathways to transfer sight information instead of using his eyes. The only thing to do after that is practice, practice, practice.
