Self-Awareness and Communing With the Force:
This meditation is pretty simple, actually.
It can be performed lying down, sitting up, walking, running, but probably not while driving. ()
Anyways, allow yourself to calm...
In breaths should be at least to the count of five.
Out breaths should equal the same.
Slowly release all tension in your body until you feel totally relaxed.
Now, allow your mind to wander.
Look at the images in your mind, sense the emotions that come with those images and connect to one of them.
Let it play in your mind as if you are watching a film. Allow it to take you to where it leads. Follow it back to its source, if you will.
Once you discover the source of that image/emotion/situation, look at what took place to cause you to feel the way that you do today. How has this impacted you in your daily life, your beliefs, your ways of thinking and behaving?
Now, decide if that is a necessary thing for you to carry on with in your life. If it is not, take the energy of the emotions connected with this image/situation and pool them together...
Visualize a giant lake in front of you, a dark lake of black waters that seems to have no end. Now, pour those emotions and the "negative" attachments into that lake.
As you do this, see the lake lightening up, see it begin to shimmer and brighten. Visualize the lake becoming pure blue waters and release the energies that restrain you in your daily life. Transfer the energy of those connections into pure Force energy and let it go.
Once this is done, see if there are anymore images that you would like to follow back and discard.
When completed, simply return to normal consciousness.
