... and Congress just bought eight of them to get those poor, members of Congress around when they need them.
$550,000,000.00 <- That's quite a few 0's to spend on 8 sources of transport, especially when they were bashing corporations for using their own jets that didn't have nearly the same pricetag.

Both are guilty here. The congress is used to the niceties of democracy. The failed CEO's took their cut. They are all crooks. If I failed in business I would just loose my business but they ruin their companies and they get money and severance, boy what a racket. This whole thing makes me think I need Johny Hooker(Robert Redford) and Henry Gandorf(Paul Newman). Remember the sting well I guess what I need is a few friends that know how to out con a con.

I watch the tv series "Leverage"... a few episodes ago, they went after a banker and the mob, who were ripping off millions from the bailouts. The banker said something like, "Do you know what happened when I stole millions? The government gave me more money! Do you think these idiots could pull that off by themselves?"
And, that's the world we live in.

I wish there was a way for both liberals and conservatives to link up with out insulting one another to at least defend our selves against this whole sale robbery. Of course I have no idea how to unite so dofferant points of view but I know as long as those that run things keep us fighting each other they get to continue to rob us and laugh their way to the bank. Boy I wish there was away to have the average American help one another but how (shrug)

Well, I have a simple plan. First we get rid of all the Democrats; then we get rid of all the Republicans; then we fill Washington with Libertarians. Then (except maybe for Gay Marriage and Legalization of Marijuana) you'll never have enough of them agreeing on any one thing to get a bill passed. They can't make any new laws, and we don't have to put up with their cow pies. Seriously, though, there are ways to help each other. One good way to start is to stop demonizing people who disagree with us -- free speech is only a good plan if everyone gets to speak without being mocked, belittled, and insulted. After that, We The People need to quit waiting for someone else to take care of things -- there's no such thing as a "free" Government entitlement. Third, the Founding Fathers never intended political office to be a career -- We The People need to ensure that doesn't happen. A fourth idea would be for people to begin being responsible for their own consequences. A radical idea, I know, but, hey ... it might work. The final suggestion would be to start communicating with our neighbors. Find out who you live around; find out their particular skills and resources; work together as a group to assist each other. Anyone can grow at least some of their own food, even in an apartment. Whether you "roof garden" or just put some tomatoes and green pepper plants in a sunny window. Grow your own to share and help someone else learn how to grown their own. When I lived in the city, I turned my entire back yard into a vegetable and fruit garden. There was always more than I could use or even can up, and I was happy to share with my neighbors. It doesn't take as much work as you might think. Band together for "bulk buying" to help save money, whether you can get to a discount warehouse store like Sam's Club, or you buy from sites online that sell in bulk. Join a co-op. Have a big freezer? Find someone who doesn't and offer them a bit of space for food storage (and don't charge them). There are so many things we can do to help each other, but the main thing is to not do all of our connecting online, and actually get to know the people around us (a sometimes scary proposition ). Everyone has something to share, no matter how small a bit. By the way, Myrrden. Thanks for .

Sounds like a plan to me! ;D You're welcome. I'm trying to find some different ones to better represent what we really want to show. I'm not quite happy with or and there's still six that I need to find alternatives for.
