As a Witch it was horrible for me to be the only person of the coven who could not read tarot cards. It took me about 2 years since joining the coven to figure out that not all decks are for everyone.
My core interest in magick is Dragon Magick and as it pertains to Dragon Magick finding books is not a easy process, one of the better writers I found on the topic is DJ Conway.
In any event back to the point. DJ Conway as a wonder Deck of tarot cards called Celtic Dragon Tarot. The cards are the traditon 78 card deck and a wonderful book is also provided. The Deck was around $40 and can be found at Boarders book store. The book also has some a few wonderful tarot spreads and some Tarot spreads blended with Candle Magick.
For me the Celtic Dragon Tarot Deck was the first Deck I was ever able to truly read. When I do readings for myself, friends or coven members the cards speak to me and I seldomly if ever bother using the book unless things are cloudy for some odd reason. Since I purchased the Dragon Tarot deck I found a couple other Dragon Decks that work well for me but not as well as the Celtic Dragon Deck.
If you are interested in reading Tarot Cards be mindful that you may need to pick up a couple of tarot decks before you find ones that are meant to read. If you pick up your first deck and have great issues reading them do not get discouraged as it could simply mean that the deck you choice is not a deck that works for you.

If you go to ebay you can purchases used tarot cards cheaply, however honestly I would not recommand doing this. It is believed that you can clean the energy of tarot cards by smudging, adding onxy or Jet stones, however there will always be traces of energy from the prior user which may not be good for you. It may cost a good bit of money but it is better to buy new cards!
