Hello there! Fantastic site, Myrrden (great wizarding name, by the way! ) I'm Thete ... although perhaps some folk here might remember me as "the Infinity Professor" from days gone by (but I'm alright now! ) My space-time coordinates are: Galactic Sector ZZ9 Plural Z Alpha (if you're confused, please consult The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy), Sol3 (3rd rock from the Sun), in the province of KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa. This is not my fault. Because Earthlings live in an economy rather than a society, I work as an occasional librarian to 'pay the bills' and I believe that people are dimensionally transcendental (i.e. that they're bigger on the inside than the outside). I especially like children, dogs and trees, and I love the sky at night. I dislike underwear, tyrants and weapons (but not necessarily in that order). It's certainly refreshing (to say the least) to discover a group dedicated to studying the metaphysical mysteries of the Force, who seek cosmic wisdom rather than developing oligarchical hierachies to further personal agendas. I've always considered the Jedi of the Star Wars universe to be wizards ("wise ones") who seek to understand, and thus flow with, the Tao of the 'verse at a quantum level... a level where mysticism and science are one and the same. The name Wizards of the Force says it all! Nice one! Unfortunately my cyberspace excursions are extremely limited, so I'll only be able to visit every fortnight or so. Nevertheless, from what I've seen on the forums so far, it'll always be well worth the wait! My thanks to Tom for pointing me towards this part of cyberspace, otherwise I might never have found this place. Infinitely yours,

Hey, I remember you. How have you been these past few years?!

Hey there! Welcome! I remember you as Prof. Actually, not many people know that we're here as far as I know, but I've seen where a few people have posted a link for us. Thanks go to Tom for pointing you in our direction. One of the things that I've always liked about wizardry is that there aren't technically "levels" but instead there are different paths all meant to lead us further on our own path. I've studied what I classify as wizardry for about 13 years now, though I guess technically it could be 20 years, but the first seven were just me wanting to be a Obi-Wan. Don't fret too much about how much time you actually spend here, some of us go days or weeks without posting. Guess that just means that either we actually have lives away from the computer or we're too lazy to post something... I like to believe that it's option number 1.

Hey, I remember you. How have you been these past few years?! Hey there, Catherine! Wow! Has it really been a few years? Tempus fugit, eh? It's been an interesting time, what with the odd existential meltdown and watching the ol' homeworld going mad. How've things been in the Sparkside? Hey there! Welcome! I remember you as Prof. Actually, not many people know that we're here as far as I know... Thanks for the welcome, Myrrden. I thought that being known as 'the Prof' was a) prententious, and b) misled folk into believing me to be more qualified than I really am, so I thought that a new cyber-identity would be in order. 'Theta Sigma' is a Doctor Who joke, so everyone's welcome to just call me Andrew if they'd prefer. I like the intimacy of this message board, rather than a huge community with too many members to keep track of. "Quality, not quantity" is a maxim I'm very fond of! One of the things that I've always liked about wizardry is that there aren't technically "levels" but instead there are different paths all meant to lead us further on our own path. Absolutely! The pursuit of knowledge/wisdom is an intensely personal one, and although our journey's destination is ultimately one and the same, the path we follow is unique to each of us. No one can lead us along it, but there are often guides who know the route and folk to offer directions when we get a bit lost between the stars. Of course, the company of fellow travellers is always welcome, even if people's paths may eventually diverge along the way. Indeed, it was my stumbling alone in the dark that prompted me to ask Tom to share some light! So, anyone got a star map? PS: Myrrden, have you ever read Deepak Chopra's Way of the Wizard? I think you'd enjoy it immensely.

I have a copy of Way of the Wizard and have read about half of it. Then I moved, it got packed into a box, and is lost somewhere in the void known as my garage. lol

Hello, Theta! I'm very glad to see that you have made your way over here. That space junk can block the lanes a lot of the time, but hey.... it's about time you made it here! Now, maybe you could convince Cathy to sneak back in here?

P.S. Isn't Theta Sigma the Doctor's nickname from 'Timelord school'

I have a copy of Way of the Wizard and have read about half of it. Then I moved, it got packed into a box, and is lost somewhere in the void known as my garage. lol You know, Myrrden, that seems to be part of the magic of this book! I went through two copies of it before I finally read it to the end (both of which have ended up on someone else's bookshelves, on opposite sides of the country!) It seems to only stick around long enough enough to impart the necessary lessons for a particular Time and Relative Dimension in Space before moving on. No doubt it'll emerge from your Garage Singularity when it decides you need another cosmic nudge! Hello, Theta! I'm very glad to see that you have made your way over here. That space junk can block the lanes a lot of the time, but hey.... it's about time you made it here! Now, maybe you could convince Cathy to sneak back in here? Hi Icarus! Yeah, the interstellar traffic around Alpha Centauri/Rigil Kentaurus is totally crazy, and dodging the two thousand plus satellites orbiting Earth almost blew my relative continuum stabiliser! I'm guessing that the Cathy you're refering to is Momenta/Lorelei? I'm sure she'd be more than happy to grace the Wizards of the Force with her presence, just as soon as she knows it exists. I usually connect with her on YIM on any Sunday night I'm online, so I'll certainly extend an invitation. Alternatively, if you have a MySpace account, you can find her here.

Nice to see you here Andrew, I thought you would like it here. Tom W P.S. Isn't Theta Sigma the Doctor's nickname from 'Timelord school' Hi Tom! Yeah, I'm really enjoying these forums. And yes, you've bust me! Theta Sigma (Thete) is indeed a Doctor Who joke! I love being a DW fan in a country that's never heard of Time Lords, the TARDIS or dimensional transcendentalism. Thanks again for pointing me in this direction!

Actually, Momenta was a member here until we moved from our old host to this one. I'm not really sure how she got lost in the process, but I'm sure that it wasn't any of my doing.

No worries, Myrrden... I doubt she got lost, more than likely she's been distracted by the space-time continuum or slipped into an alternative timesteam. Certainly not any of your doing, at any rate! Nevertheless, I'll pass on the message that she's being missed, and I'm sure she'll stop by and say hi to everyone.

Yeah, it's been at least 2-3 yrs if I remember right. Kinda wild, huh? But you ran through my mind a couple of weeks ago, so I should've known we'd be bumping into each other in cyberspace again!

But you ran through my mind a couple of weeks ago, so I should've known we'd be bumping into each other in cyberspace again! It's these new sneakers I've got -- I've been running amok all over the place! (I hope I didn't leave any skid-marks in your mind, tho'! ) Your intuition's still as good as ever, Spark, if not better! Icarus, I'm afraid I didn't get to chat to Momenta after all, but I did send through a quick message so at least she has the materialistion coordinates for WotF. If you'd like her e-mail address or YIM contact please let me know and I'll forward them to you.

Well he's finally dragged me here, since you missed me so much. ;D Hello there. I'll hitch a lift on this thread, since it's all your fault I'm here. I'm honestly not sure how much time I'll be spending here, life is pretty chaotic. I don't know if you know of the meltdown at Sithism, but if you want me you will find me here: sithist.eamped.com/ along with all the usual suspects. Interesting and a bit more as I would have liked it all along. So how are you all?
