Greetings...
A long time ago, I kept a forum called Spark's Service Center on the ezboard system at "Discussion Hall." The name for the forum came from a local auto repair shop with the same name; it seemed amusing to me, considering my online moniker!
What can I say about me? Online, I come off as a bit of a maverick and unpredictable in action. From where I sit, while I could agree, I can also see a longer view and see more stability than you might otherwise guess. There's been a purpose to each step. Besides that, I'm pushing 30, I'm female and I live at home with a mom and a dog. I'm a care-taker and an employee part-time.
Of the Jedi, I'm just me. I've had different titles and ranks, and these days, I don't go by any of them other than the rank/title I have at the FA that I didn't exactly ask for. ;D I haven't written a lecture of any substance in a long time and haven't felt compelled to in a couple years really. A lot of who I'd been has changed in fundamental ways.
*shrugs*
Not much of an intro for this forum, but here it is anyway!

A maverick who doesn't go by ranks or titles? I think you may have described every single member here! Guess that means you're just meant to fit in with us.

Only in the way that you are a maverick like all of us. Mavericks are all maverick in their own special way but we love each other really. We get on together all right anyway.

I think it has something to do with none of us being too concerned if we fit in or not that makes us fit in here. Kinda strange, really. The concept, not us... well, maybe we're a little strange, but not too strange. Right?

I think it has something to do with none of us being too concerned if we fit in or not that makes us fit in here. This reminds of what J.K. Rowling said way back in '99 which seems perfectly apt (especially considering the wizard aspect of this forum): "The wizards represent all that the true "muggle" most fears: They are plainly outcasts and comfortable with being so. Nothing is more unnerving to the truly conventional than the unashamed misfit!"

People like us are always drawn to each other as well. I noted at a meal with friends a few months ago that not one among us was 'normal'. In fact it took us a long time to work out who was the most 'normal' member.
